Care & Safety
everything you need to know about how we ensure safety and how you can care for your new tattoo to keep it looking its best.
Our Safety Standards
Sterile Equipment: All needles and tools are single-use and sterilized before every session. We use only high-quality, professional-grade supplies to ensure safety and precision.
Hygienic Studio Environment: Our studio is cleaned and sanitized daily, and we follow strict protocols to maintain a sterile workspace during each tattoo session.
Experienced Artists: Each of our artists is trained in proper hygiene practices and uses the latest techniques to deliver exceptional results safely.
Skin-Friendly Products: We use high-quality, skin-safe inks and ointments that comply with health regulations to minimize the risk of irritation or allergic reactions.
Before Your Appointment
Hydrate & Rest: Stay hydrated and well-rested to ensure your body is prepared for the session.
Avoid Alcohol & Blood Thinners: Do not consume alcohol, aspirin, or any blood-thinning substances at least 24 hours before your appointment.
Dress Comfortably: Wear loose, comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the area being tattooed.
Tattoo Aftercare Instructions
Proper aftercare is essential to ensure your tattoo heals well and retains its vibrancy. Follow these steps to care for your new tattoo:
Keep It Covered: Leave the bandage or wrap on for the duration recommended by your artist, typically 2-4 hours.
Clean Gently: Once you remove the bandage, gently wash the tattoo with lukewarm water and mild, fragrance-free soap. Pat dry with a clean paper towel.
Moisturize: Apply a thin layer of tattoo-specific aftercare ointment or fragrance-free moisturizer as directed by your artist.
Avoid Soaking: Do not swim, take baths, or soak your tattoo in water until it’s fully healed (about 2-4 weeks).
Protect from Sun: Keep your tattoo out of direct sunlight. Once healed, always apply sunscreen to preserve the color and prevent fading.
Do Not Pick or Scratch: Let any scabs or peeling skin fall off naturally to avoid damaging the tattoo.
What to Expect During Healing
Redness & Tenderness: It’s normal to experience some redness, swelling, or tenderness in the first few days.
Itching: As your tattoo heals, it may itch. Avoid scratching or picking at it to prevent scarring.
Peeling: Light peeling is a natural part of the healing process. Moisturize regularly to keep the skin hydrated.
If you notice signs of infection, such as excessive redness, swelling, pus, or fever, contact a healthcare provider and inform us immediately.
